“ The kitchen was closed when we visited, but there was plenty of cake available! You can have a hot drink or order from the alcohol menu.. which was perfect for me! I enjoyed a strawberry gin with their trillionaires shortcake!! The perfect combination in my eyes!! They cater for baby showers and afternoon tea. They also had a vegan menu! The staff were really friendly too! ”
“ I booked for Tuesday 8th of April , as a mothers Day treat for my 75-year-old young mum . When we arrived, we were shown to our reserved table and offered either 2 hot drinks or 1 cold drink each included in our afternoon tea . Roughly 8 minutes after our hot drinks arrived came our gorgeously devine platter of goodies . There were lots included . Very fresh sandwiches , tuna , cream cheese, and cucumber, ham and I think cheese and pickle. A nice portion of fresh salad, too . Then we had our large scones, and we had ours the cornish way , Jam first and cream on top . The moisture cakes on the top tier and boxed sweet treat was too much to have after everything else , so the friendly lady ( who was wearing a t shirt with a picture of her cats on , sorry we didn't get your name) swiftly got us a take home box and a bag to carry it in . What a lovely, friendly environment, and will return again soon . Dog friendly too , BIG bonus ”
“ Great tea rooms, the food was amazing, brilliant sandwiches and scones were hugh and cakes were so tasty. Even got some truffles with the cream tea we had. Food is west end London standard, very good indeed.You can have 2 lots of tea and coffee each. Large mugs of coffee and teapots. The service was excellent the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Found it easy to book online and table was reserved. The tea didn't take long to come. The atmosphere is lovely nice tearooms very friendly atmosphere and upstairs and downstairs and the toilets were very clean. Nice comfy seats and tea was displayed beautifully. Very easy to get to right opposite Lakeland and bus stops and just across the road from the Beacon centre and about 5 minutes away the train station. ”

“ Went, with my husband, for afternoon tea for 2 on 20/5/25. A birthday gift from my daughter. I particularly love afternoon tea, and this was an excellent one. The cafe is in an old art deco shop with original features. Our table was on the balcony and we had a wonderful view of the interior. The food was plentiful with a huge array of sandwiches each, large fruit scones with jam, butter and cream as well as cakes and chocolates. We had a scrumptious and leisurely meal. Also the staff were delightful, helpful and attentive. Hope my daughter gives me the same birthday present next year! ”
